There sure are lots of guys that sell overhead doors for a steel building but I noticed something funny that they are 24 gauge OR 26 gauge "Galvalume" so that means that 24 gauge isn't Galvalume? I call these guys and some say yes and some say no I need to know because I don't want rust and I got that years ago with some other doors I got that werren't "Galvalume"
Does anyone know.?
Go with the 26 gauge. That's the best! The 24 gauge may be cheaper, but it's CHEAP and so you don't want it!

Wait...24 gauge is thicker so it's more expensive...I mean Galvalume..if it doesn't say "galvalume" is it inferior steel?

I don't think it's "inferior" but performance-wise Galvalume is certainly superior to most other alloys.
