These metal building system packages do the come with insulation or is that extra?

Yes and no. There are some quote on quote "kits" available for sale that come pre-packaged that way. I would steer you away from that though because the R value and type of insulation you need will. in large part, be determined by your building size and what it's used for.

I've got enough on my hands with a current retrofit but thanks for the information. I just wanted to know.
