I had a building that was 30x80 that we put up recently. It was metal. I have worked with other types of buidings before mostly wodd frame/stucco in the Southwest and I don't know if we save half the time like the commercials say but it did go up quickly. Once we got the hang of the metal panels it was cool. So there was a delay there. We did get an experienced erector for the roof though. We melded the teams but they worked faster than us.

Metal and steel buildings do go up fast...they do because that's their advantage

You had an erector do the roof? Was he also a roofer. It's interesting that he didn't do the whole building.
