Bay size

I see formulations for portal frames that include 30 ft. bays. Are steel building manufacturers now going with 30 feet to save on steel? I thought it was either 20 or 25 foot bays.

Whose doing that? As far as I know 20 and 25 are still the standard bay sizes.

I don't know whose doing it that's why I asked the question. It must be some applications because I've seen the designs.
