I am new to this forum. I am going to build a metal building this coming spring that is approx. 30 by 30 with a 12 foot eave and a hip roof. What can I plan on as to the cost of having the building erected? This is in Ohio.

I am not in Ohio Highstrung but there are cost of erection"ranges" acrooss the country. I have heard that a rule of thumb is $3.50 to $6.00 a square foot. You have a smaller project so it's going to tend to the "high" side. Also, I don't know if it is union work in Ohio. That's higher as well.

So worst case scenario is $5400.. that seems a bit high...I'l check around. Thank you.
