GC or erector

What's the difference? Are all General Contractors erectors. Certainly not all erectors are Gcs. Who better to put up a metal building? Is it about hoew complicated the project is Like to know.

I would say a GC would probably contract an erector to put up a metal building. So you are paying 2 people for the same job. It would be cheaper to hire the erector yourself.

I think this was a great question. I used to think they were the same until someone told me otherwise. I still don't fully understand. I would agree that a contractor would hire an erector.
