Question

I have in mind to add a metal building on to an existing one. The trouble is the existing one is brick and will this be a problem? The existing building is about 50 by 100. The new one would be 40 by 60. Same height-14 foot eave.

Are you anchoring the new building to the old (it can be done) or is it removed from the structure enough to be connected only by a passageway? Without seeing a diagram it is hard to give a suitable answer.
