Shouldn't this particular forum be limited to GC.s and erectors only???? I'm not either one but it seems to me this might be a place to go for them to discuss things among themselves. Any opinions?

You can have a separate topic site just for them. The admin guys on any site read this stuff. Maybe they will adjust.

Lance, if a tree falls in the forest and there is no one around to hear it, will it make a sound? So what good is it to have a forum where only professionals can "share their knowledge" with one another. Would we not still need a forum for people like you to learn from them? GC's and E's can talk off-line if they need to discuss something that "we would not understand."

Besides, are you not glad that they let you in this forum despite your not being a General Contractor or Erector?

I hope they are all included. That would be helpful if some could join in so that I can learn. Especially the ones who know how to construct metal/steel buildings. I would like to see the interchange of ideas between "them" and "us".

I still think the GC's and erectors need there own private space...leave this one the way it is fine...but let them do there own sharing of ideas without people butting in with are you a GC? Can you do my project?
