These metal building companies on the web do they come out and put up the building or do I do that. If they don't come out do they recommend contractors or am I on my own?

Depends on the company you use. From what I can gather most (but not all) of the metal and steel building companies( BTW Google "metal buildings" and then "steel buildings"---you'll get some the same and some different results) just sell you the building. The ones that will put it up say so on their site. The others have varying degrees of being able to "help" locate an erector or GC for your project.

There's a locator service for erectors and GC.s nationally? Is that on a website?

No I think he means the steel building supplier helps find an erector. Probably someone they have used before.
