Foundation required

I see some discussion about foundations but what kind of founation is REQUIRED for a metal building. Who knows?

I have seen pier and beam and concrete used almost exclusively. Don't design your own. Find a local foundation engineer in your town who can do this. Remember you probably have excavation and drainage issues, form work, requirements for reinforcing along with concrete proportioning. This way you get the proper design. On the other side with the metal building company you are using they need to supply anchor bolt plans and engineer stamped blueprints for this all to come together for you.
