How big can you go now width wise with clear span with metal buildings. The standard says 300 feet. Is this the limit? Got to get the answer to a guy considering multiple indoor soccer fields for youth groups under roof. He'd like it a bit wider but no interior supports. Pictures would help if anybody's got any osf something 425 feet wide clear-span. I thank you.

Ok so this is the project you were talking about for your "Top Ten" list? I could be wrong but I think 300 feet is the limit on clear span. figuring a minimum 50 yard width are you trying to get more than 6 field across? How long a building for additional fiels too. Seems like a big operation. You might just want to go longer. The cost per square foot might go out of sight for any ability of any company to make it beyond the 300 foot width.

That's great on the lenght but it's a space issue with property lines. You may be right though...if it's a premium to go wider it may just blow the budget..we may have to downsize. Thank you.
