Let's just say that it takes four to six weeks to get a metal building. Now from what I read on the websites that's about theaverage time quoted so I would assume that's fabrication time and shipping etc. The how come for a garage project ihe average is two weeks? My suspicion is that the garage kits are already fabricated. I see discussion of codes and loads on this site so I suspect that the garages are a "one size fits all" approach to building maybe 20/80. But don't you have to pull a permit on a garage just as well as a 40x60? After all the garage is exposed to the same elements as the 40x60 . Just wondering.

Some garage kits are prefab and may not use 26 gauge commercial grade steel. They are in fact a "kit". 4 to 6 weeks? Maybe but if it's the high building season (Spring/Summer) good luck with that one. If you are looking to order now maybe so as the quote on quote "season" is winding down.

I would assume some of these garages and sheds are of "lesser" quality when compared to commercial grade stee. However, if you order a commercial grade steel garage in whatever size it's going to take a while to get that building. And not two weeks.

Bout how long then?
For that size building realistically give it 60 days...while you are discussing it times fly.
