Anchor bolts

A lot of metalbuilding companies, in fact I think all, say they will not ship anchor bolts. I know they are very heavy and probably too expensive to ship. So are there anchor bolt distributors or does the concrete contractor provide them? How do they know what size and specification to use with the building?

I think whoever you contract to do your foundation work provides them they are included in the price but the company that does it is going to need an anchor bolt plan first from the company you are buying a building from. I'm assuming that's what you are doing?
